Stevens 470 at Art Materials World 2012
On May 9, 2012, Tina and Katie headed for Orlando to attend "Art Materials World 2012," the annual conference of the International Art Materials Association (NAMTA). The organization is recognized as a leader in the support, sustainability and advocacy of art and the art/creative materials business.
Tina was a featured speaker at the conference, with a presentation titled "5 Great Art Materials Websites and Why They are Effective." She reviewed over 200 association member websites and utilized various components of them as examples in her talk on best practices in web marketing and development. Tina and Katie also led a roundtable on web marketing and social media, answering attendees' questions on a wide range of digital media topics.
Stevens 470 provides package design, marketing materials, in-store signage and website design and management to several of the companies participating on the show floor. We were proud to see our work on display in their booths.
We worked with Strathmore Artist Papers on the signage and artwork for their new booth, as well as the package design and marketing materials for their new featured products: Toned Sketch fine art papers and Hardbound Art Journals. These innovative new products had rave reviews at the show.
Grafix, one of our newest clients, introduced their new line of urban art products. We developed the logo and package design, and the prototype display at the show had a lot of great feedback. We look forward to seeing the finished products.
TIna and Katie had a great time during our three days at the show and met lots of creative and interesting people running manufacturing businesses, distributing art supplies and managing retail art stores.
