Stevens 470 at Art Materials World 2013

Conference Presentation

Earlier this month, Tina headed for Minneapolis to attend "Art Materials World 2013," the annual conference of the International Art Materials Association (NAMTA). The organization is recognized as a leader in the support, sustainability and advocacy of art and the art/creative materials business.

Tina was a featured speaker at the conference, with a presentation titled "Making an Impact with Multichannel Marketing." She spoke about developing a multichannel marketing plan and using the most effective marketing channels for a positive impact on business. Stevens 470 provides package design, marketing materials, in-store signage, and website design and management to several of the companies participating on the show floor. We were proud to see our work on display in their booths.

Client Innovation Awards

Stevens 470 worked with Strathmore Artist Papers on the signage and artwork for their booth, as well as the package design and marketing materials for their new featured products. Strathmore was a finalist for the Art Business Innovation Award this year, for their line of Toned Sketch fine art papers. Stevens 470 designed the product packaging for the Toned Sketch art pads and rolls.

Grafix was also a finalist for an Art Business Innovation Award, for their new line of urban art accessories. Stevens 470 developed the logo, package design, and display signage for this product line called Edge. Grafix also introduced their expanded offering of Shrink Film at the show. Stevens 470 updated the logo and redesigned all the packaging, which got a lot of positive feedback.

Tina had a great time during her three days at the show and met lots of creative and interesting people running manufacturing businesses, distributing art supplies and managing retail art stores.
