Tina Stevens Receives M.A. in Advertising Design
Tina Stevens, owner of Stevens Design Studio, has received a master of arts in Advertising Design from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York.
Stevens continued in her role as Creative Director of Stevens Design Studio while engaged in the university's independent study degree program. The program included visits to top agencies in Boston, San Francisco, Miami, Amsterdam and London to exchange ideas, attend lectures and present independent work.
Stevens also spent two weeks each summer, for three consecutive summers, on the Syracuse University campus where industry professionals and visiting faculty shared their experience and creative expertise.
Program requirements included working with local non-profits and Stevens developed creative strategies and designed marketing campaigns for Dakin Animal Shelter, Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity and Shriners Hospital for Children.
Her thesis, Online Offline: Catalog Marketing Today, looks at the history of the print catalog and e-commerce, presents information gathered through interviews with catalog industry experts and provides insight into the role of today's marketing professional. The document will be available through the Syracuse University Library.
Stevens Design Studio is located in Westfield, Massachusetts and has been in operation since 1990, growing from a single designer to a full-service studio providing creative design and marketing services with a staff of print and web designers. Stevens looks forward to expanding the studio's services and providing exceptional strategies and solutions to local and national clients.
