Tina Stevens is the Principal of Stevens 470 Marketing + Creative. The business opened in 1990 and grew from a graphic design studio into a full service design and web development agency, serving local and national clients with an approach that utilizes marketing knowledge to inform design and communication decisions. Stevens 470 became a local leader in teaching clients how to use the new digital media channels to meet their business objectives.
In 2014, Tina transitioned Stevens 470 to a private consultancy providing marketing services, online and offline brand development, and educational programs. Through MarketingWorks, Tina provides training sessions that teach individuals and organizations to utilize current media channels and digital marketing strategies to build their brand and grow their business. The programs are designed for organizations, business owners, marketing managers, entrepreneurs, and key marketing staff.
In addition, Tina is an adjunct faculty member at Greenfield Community College. She currently teaches Principles of Marketing and E-commerce in the Business and Information Technology department, and Digital Design in the Art department. She provides students with the latest business and technical information, with the goal of developing hands-on skills and capabilities for creating their own business, providing value to an employer’s business, or providing a foundation to further their education.
“Keeping up with changes in demographics, trends, social and cultural shifts, new technologies, and economic conditions are all part of the marketing process. I believe every business can utilize current digital marketing strategies to effectively represent their brand and achieve their business goals. Media channels have evolved, but marketing remains at the heart of business success.”
Tina has been a successful entrepreneur from the beginning, starting her first business in Boston while taking evening classes at Mass Art and the Boston Art Institute. Stevens 470 Marketing + Creative was launched in 1990 and celebrates over 25 years in design, marketing, and web development. Tina’s academic education provides a foundation for her marketing knowledge, while her years of business experience provide a real-world perspective on business, management, and sales.
Tina earned a master’s degree in advertising design from Syracuse University through their ISDP program for working professionals in the creative industry. During this unique program, Tina visited agencies across the U.S. and in Europe, all adding to her omnichannel view of marketing today.
