Stevens 470 worked with Strathmore to create a unique look for their new illustration contest. We developed the theme and overall design for the contest materials, and coordinated with Strathmore to finalize the contest entry details.
There is a lot of pent-up desire in the marketplace.
While the economy has all of us spending less and evaluating our purchases more carefully, many of us are still meeting our daily needs. In my area, which has a mix of income levels, the malls and stores seem busy enough with full parking lots and lines at check out. So we must be buying something. I believe we are reducing our discretionary spending, so we are saying “no” to a lot of things we really want. As part of evaluating your products and services be sure to think about this.
Video has taken over the internet! All types of businesses, from corporate and service-based to entertainment, are using video on their websites to capture attention and tell a story. Join us for an informal presentation and discussion about the many ways you can use video to bring people to your website.
Stevens 470 hosted the first in a series of Coffee Hours at our Westfield studio. The Coffee Hours are informal discussions on current marketing and web development topics and include coffee and a light breakfast. The July 8th Coffee Hour “How is your website doing?” focused on the role of your website in your marketing success. The topics discussed over breakfast included: the features that make an effective website, today’s web standards, and methods for driving traffic to your website. We shared ideas and information and Justin and I answered specific web marketing questions.
Stevens 470 works closely with The Arbors Assisted Living Communities to develop and manage their corporate identity and collateral material. Recent ads and postcards were developed to promote awareness of their assisted living facilities and all the amenities available. The latest campaign highlights the independent and active side of living at The Arbors.
I have worked with Shriners Hospital in Springfield for fifteen years and I am very proud of that relationship. The organization, the patients, and the staff are all exceptional people to know and work with. I went to the press conference on Friday just so I could be there when the official announcement was made that the hospital will remain open and will continue in its mission to provide exceptional orthopaedic pediatric care at no cost to the children or their families.
I cannot resist a farmers market for all of the obvious reasons. They’re full of fresh and colorful plants and vegetables, the people are friendly and there is an intriguing sense of activity about them. When I see all that garden splendor I feel the need to get in there and see what is available. I may not need a plant, or even plan to cook anything, but I am still compelled to walk through and take a look.
“E-mail marketing is a powerful marketing tool that is less costly than many other types of direct marketing activity.”
Direct e-mail can be designed to increase sales, drive traffic to your website, or send customers to your retail store. It is also highly effective for building customer loyalty. E-mail marketing will generate an immediate response – usually occurring within the first 48 hours after the e-mail is broadcast.
Today, more than ever, you must keep your website content relevant and up-to-date. Returning website visitors are looking for fresh information, new products and the latest news about your company. At Stevens 470 we create database driven websites that give our clients the ability to manage their own website and easily update the content.
Thank you Hadley Printing for giving us the opportunity to work on such a great project! This promotional mailer, “as green as it gets”, was awarded a Gold Addy at the 2009 Addy® Awards competition. Stevens 470 custom designed the promotional package to inform Hadley Printing’s clients of their FSC certification and to emphasize their continued commitment to the environment.
Stevens 470 recently worked with Hogan Communications to develop a marketing campaign that acknowledged Sean and Andy’s commitment to area businesses and to the communities they serve. The campaign includes a billboard that conveys Hogan Communications’ ability to supply all your business technology needs, with personal service and attention to detail.
Tina Stevens and Justin Friend of Stevens 470 will be presenting a seminar "Creating and Maintaining a Successful Website," at Westfield State College on March 3, 2009, sponsored by the Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce. The seminar will discuss topics on website design and function, pushing and pulling web traffic, tracking website activity and new web technologies.
The stock market has crashed, retirement savings have shrunk, and the cost of goods continues to rise. While these are very tangible changes, perhaps the biggest change impacting our business is the current shift in consumer values. Since good marketing requires us to fully appreciate the values of our audience (customers and prospects), we need to understand the effect of those values on consumer response to the products/services we offer.
To promote their new Artist Trading Cards (ATCs), Strathmore Artist Papers™ organized and hosted "The Great Holiday Swap for Artist Trading Cards." Artists submitted their holiday-themed ATCs to Strathmore® and in return received an original ATC done by another artist.
